Salut,
Here we go:
Our 747-300 D2-TEA at the Parking Position in Libreville / FOOL. There was a high request for this flight, so TAAG decided to send the Jumbo-Jet to Gabon.
Now the fueling begins. We have ordered 82'500 pounds of fuel which is about 37 tons.
Now our Flight Engineer is starting up the APU. Meanwhile the passengers are boarding our "Ciudado do Kuito"
Another necessary System, the INS in which I'm currently entering the route. On longhaul flights I'm using all three Systems, but for this short hop, one unit should be o.k.
Finally the pushback. Can you see the smoke coming out of Engine 2 and 3 ?
Take-Off, runway 16.
Climbing on our MISVA1S Departure. Ain't it looking nice ?
The cruise was unspectacular and now we are already descending. You can see the METAR for Luanda.
Intercepting the localizer...
Below us, the city of Luanda.
Yes ! A local Spotter got me
After a long backtrack, taxiing to the final parking position. The Aircraft will soon depart to Lisbon, unfortunately without me...
Thanks a lot for your attention !
