- Wow, this is great news!
Any chance to make it compatible with this AFCAD http://www.vatcaf.org/VATCAF/af2_dgaa.zip that I also used for my X-Plane version available here: http://www.alexcohrs.de/bin/dgaa/Accra_Scenery.zip ?
Would make life for the controllers a lot easier...
Thank you very much for bringing this place to the FS9 (and FSX?) scene!
Alex Hi AlexCohrs... uh?...but i don't live for VATCAF controller's Life And i can't say if it will be compatible...Usually, the afcad is based on a scenery and not the contrary All i can do is to try this afcad with the scenery once it is finished and to tell you if it is or not. It' for FS9.

| Ok, roger that. Maybe we just have a different philosophy in this, I tried to adjust my X-Plane scenery to meet with the existing AFCAD to avoid having any offsets between pilots with different scenery.
However, as we all spend our free time for this, everybody should do it like he wants to. I am glad there will be a FS9 scenery of Accra anyway.
Kind regards

| Re, Alex
Actually, i place my sceneries to match with the default afcad. This default afcad may not be well positionned, regarding to the real geographic coordinates, but it the most precise way i know, as i don't read airports charts... Since i use photorealistic sceneries based on gg earth, there may be a difference between the gg more precise positionning and the FS one. I don't know if i will use a photo ground for Accra because it represents hours more of works, for the autogen. If you're sure that your afcad can be considered as a reference, i'm ready to use it for the placement, in the case i wouldn't make a photoreal scenery.

| Ah roger, I think this will work. The one I gave you the link to is from Florian Kreutzer, and this is also the one I adopted for my X-Plane scenery. But in fact I guess it doesn't differ much from the default AFCAD - otherwise I would have recognized during my ATC sessions.
The only thing I changed is the parking positions. They are straight in in Florians AFCAD. Our Ghanaian mate told me that this is also the way it was planned at Accra when they build the terminal. But then, maybe because they ran out of money, they decided not to build the fingers and instead made the parking positions so that you can taxi out on your own.
As far as I can remember the default AFCAD as well as the one from Florian (and as a result also mine) are NOT matching real world, it has some offset. That's the bad thing: In X-Plane, per default, we mostly have correct rw airport layout, but if you want to make your scenery matching with the MSFS ones, you have to move it to a wrong place.
However, I am very much looking forward to your scenery!
